Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has revealed his appreciation and excitement at the performances of A list artists who graced the #GreaterLagosCountdown2025 on watch night day.
Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Olamide, Seyi Vibez, and others were on hand to add colour to the night leaving spectators including the governor in awe.
“A heartfelt thank you to the incredible artists who honoured Lagos’ call to perform and made the night unforgettable—Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Olamide, Seyi Vibez, and many more,” said governor Sanwo-Olu in a statement released after the event on Wednesday.
“Your talent and passion lit up the stage and brought joy to every corner of Lagos. Last night, Lagos came alive in a way that only Lagos can!
Sanwo-Olu also thanked Lagos residents for coming together in unity to celebrate, saying, “Thank you for showing the world the true Lagos spirit.
“It was a celebration like no other. Lagos is home. Together, we ushered in 2025 with unmatched energy and pride.”
