Singer, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo a.k.a Blackface has reechoed his claim of forming the disbanded ‘Plantashun Boiz’, which featured Innocent Tuface Idibia and Chibuzor Oji a.k.a Faze.
Blackface who was speaking in a recent interview with media personality, Daddy Freeze, during an Instagram live session, claimed it was he who brought Tuface and Face into the group, that ruled the pop charts in early 2000s.
“I’m the head of Plantashun Boiz, not 2Baba. I Brought 2Baba To Plantashun Boiz,” he said.
Plantashun Boiz were discovered and produced by veteran Nelson Brown, but somewhere along the line frontman Tuface pursued a solo career with Kennis Record owned by Kenny Ogunde and it lead to the ultimate demise of the group.
The group in recent times have tried to reunited but that venture proved unsuccessful.
“That was because Tuface and Face tried to do so without me, they have tried and they have failed. Many times. You saw them in all those shows that they were going.”
, “They tried but they failed. But what I must say is I’m the plantation. So let it be known. Forget the fake memo that they spread before,” Blackface said in a previous interview.
