Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has added her voice to the lamentations by Nigerians about the unending hardship and rising insecurity across Nigeria.
Iyabo Ojo writing on her Instagram page Friday stated that the economic hardship has made many Nigerians to resort to drugs, which in turn is fueling crimes giving rise to insecurity.
“Hardship, causing acute depression, insomnia, an increase in drug intake, which is amounting to the huge volume of insecurity, irrational behaviour, and mental health in our society
“My DM is a testimonial to these facts. Henceforth, I have to stop reading my DM’s to protect my sanity. May God grant our government the wisdom to do right by their people before it is too late”.
Fuji star Wasiu Ayinde, a.k.a KWAM1 De Ultimate, during a recent performance urged President Bola Tinubu to offer solutions to the economic and social crisis facing the nation. H
Sharing a clip of his performance via Instagram, he wrote: “Nigeria my country @officialasiwajubat @youthsupporttinubu2023 @officialapcng.”
Part of the lyrics says, “President Tinubu, Nigeria’s current economic situation requires urgent attention and remedy. People are angry. Please help.”
